Below is a price list for some of my standard repair services. This is best used as a guide, until I can perform a full repair assessment in person on your instrument. Some instruments require more work than is covered in a standard service, and some require less – I will only charge for work that is required and agreed upon. Setups
A setup optimises your instrument to your playing requirements. It can dramatically improve the feel and sound of your instrument, and in many cases can make it easier to play. All setups include a full restring, unless requested otherwise.
Electric Guitar and Bass Guitar
$105 with restring/ $85 without restring
Includes adjustments to action (truss-rod, saddles, nut, neck angle), intonation, pickup volume/ response. Restring includes polishing of frets, cleaning and conditioning the fingerboard.
Electric Guitar with Floyd Rose
$125 with restring/ $100 without restring
Includes adjustments to action (truss-rod, saddles, nut), intonation, pickup volume/ response, and balancing of Floyd Rose tremolo. Restring includes polished frets, cleaned and conditioned fingerboard.
Acoustic Guitar
$90 with restring/ $70 without restring
Includes adjustments to action (truss-rod, saddle, nut). Restring includes polished frets, cleaned and conditioned fingerboard.
Classical Guitar and Ukulele
$90 with restring/ $60 without restring
Includes adjustments to saddle and nut. Restring includes polished frets, cleaned and conditioned fingerboard.
Banjo
$105 with restring/ $85 without restring
Includes adjustments to action (truss-rod, saddle, nut, neck angle), intonation and head tension. Restring includes polished frets, cleaned and conditioned fingerboard.
Mandolin
$90 with restring/ $70 without restring
Includes adjustments to action (truss-rod, saddle, nut) and intonation. Restring includes polished frets, cleaned and conditioned fingerboard.
Violin – Viola – Cello – Double Bass
$140 – $150 – $180 – $200
Includes adjustment to bridge position and height, adjustment to nut groove height and string alignment, adjustment and lubrication of tuning pegs, clean and restring. Bridges and nuts are only able to be shortened or lowered, and will need to be replaced with new if they are too short already. Soundpost adjustment or replacement can be added separately.

Restrings
All restrings include polishing of the frets, cleaning and conditioning the fingerboard. I have a range of strings available for purchase, or you are welcome to BYO.

Mods and Custom Wiring
I can do pretty much anything you want. Examples include cavity shielding, coil splitting, series/parallel switching, phase switching, four way tele switches (2 different configuration options), Schaller Megaswitches (check these out!), Fender Super Switches, S1 switches, treble bleed, 50s wiring, and so on… just ask!
Glue-ups
I use Titebond Original wood glue for guitar (and similar) repairs, and traditional hide glue for orchestral repairs.
